In September 2019, the Steering Committee developed a standard list of criteria to identify agricultural sites at higher risk to impact nearby wetlands and watercourses with runoff. These criteria were used to rank sites selected for demonstration projects. They will also be used in ranking sites for the BMP support program, to ensure that those sites calculated to be higher-risk would receive funding priority.
